run is a fascinating experience.
.This unique series of geological formations
commonly known as potholes.
The "pot holes" are scrubbed out of
the bedrock by the action of boulders on the river bed.
They were formed 14,000 years ago, during the
retreat of the last ice age which covered most of Vancouver
Island as well as other areas of North America.
