Lots of people try climbing or diving off the rocks, BUT, be warned, every year the Emergency Team is called to try to rescue over eager climbers.

I do not know the statistics, but in the last few years it seems like quite a few accidents have happened along the rocky portion of the river.

NEVER dive into untested waters, ALWAYS hike or climb with a buddy, and if I were you, I would pack along my cell phone....OPPS! the reception along the canyons are not very good so this may not work.
