The Galloping Goose Trail runs along the Sooke River for quite a bit.

You can drive up to the Sooke Potholes Provincial Park, unload your bikes and take the trail from there to the old Ghost Town of Leechtown. There are many Bed & Breakfast accommodations with in easy cycling distance from the park and trail

To find the GG Trail, just walk up the footpath and keep an eye to the right (away from the River side).
