The Galloping Goose Trail is a 60km former railway line which is now a multi-use, recreational trail. It connects the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal to downtown Victoria all along the scenic Lochside Trail. Then, connect to The Galloping Goose Trail to ride 40 km to the west coast harbour town of Sooke. You may also cycle the Galloping Goose Trail from downtown Victoria.Upon your arrival in Sooke, be sure and enjoy the hospitality of one of our bed and breakfast hosts.
