It was a day of light rain, but it did not stop
the crowds from appearing to officially open the newest park in
Sooke!
Officially opened on October 27, 2002 the Harbour Park is one
of the newest parks in the region.
Mayor Ed spoke about the vision for the park,
and thanked all the individuals and community
groups that helped in making the park.
This waterfront park will be an asset to the community.
