What is Park Watch Program?
Initiated in 2001 by the B&B Association, Park Watch is a safety and security
patrol established to assist and protect tourists and locals alike while visiting
the parks and beaches of the Sooke Region, from East Sooke to Port Renfrew, with:
• trail information,
• first-aid assistance,
• parking lot security,
• emergency communication,
• safe-guarding of lost and found items
protection from acts of vehicle theft and vandalism.

and historic Moss Cottage - it's well worth a visit.

Coastal Explorations high speed zodiac & learn all you ever wanted to know about
local marine and bird life.
• Explore a small
sample of the Sooke Art scene ... Visit the Sooke Fine Arts Gallery, the South
Shore Gallery, and the Sooke Region Museum Gift Shop ... to name only a few.
lunch at ... the 17-Mile Pub,
or pick up a picnic lunch at Village Food and dine "al fresco" sitting on a log or a rock on the
beach while watching the waves at Whiffin Spit Park, or at a picnic table in Harbour Park on West Coast Road, renamed "Ed Macgregor Park" after the first Mayor of Sooke.
