Canada Day, July 1, 2002
was a time when people of this community showed pride and patriotic support for
their country.
George Holmes was the Master of Ceremonies,
and Keith Martin and Brian Kerr welcomed the people to the event.
Dr.
Keith Martin, local Member of Parliament, presented a Canadian flag to the Lemoore
Flag Ensemble. The team traveled from Lemoore, California to perform at the Sooke
Canada Day Celebrations.
